Founder and CEO
Jerry spent most of his career in the construction, maintenance and manufacturing industries. In 1989, he placed an ad in the local newspaper and started a small handyman company working evenings and weekends doing home repairs and small remodeling projects. Mister Fix-it was born! In 2006, he grew into a full-time career. In 2013 he partnered with Billy Dawson. Together, Billy and Jerry have grown Mister Fix-it into the largest, and most respected home repair and maintenance company in the St Louis Metropolitan area. Jerry and Joan, his wife of 38 years, have raised six children and have eight grandchildren. He enjoys playing the guitar and spending time around the bon fire with family and friends.
Billy spent most of his career as Fire and Water Damage Specialist, a Fireman and an Entrepreneur. A graduate of Rankin Technical Institute, Billy has considerable experience in the construction industry. Always on the go and the first guy to raise his hand when someone needs help. Billy is very active in his community and church. He likes to spend his spare time camping with his wife Pam and their dog Penny. He always has a fishing pole available where he can sneak away and drop a line from time to time.
